KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
Unlike the whole Parma ham with bone, the boneless one has been deprived of its internal bone. Before being vacuum packed, it is cut lengthwise, manually cleaned with a knife to remove lard and later pressed and tied up to give it its typical rounded shape. This Pack size is very simple and functional and can be cut with a knife or a slicing machine.

PRODUCT PROFILE
This particular cut reminds that of a whole ham with bone. Pleasant flavour, particularly vivid the fragrance; outside, the product has a gilded rind, with a very small straw-yellow fat crown.

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE EATING
Parma ham is preserved meat, or better yet an aged raw salami not put into sausage skin and almost coated. Not everybody knows that it can be used in low-calorie diets: deprived of its visible fat, 100 grams of Parma ham have a lipid content lower than that of adult cows and turkey breasts. With a low cholesterol content, similar to veal meat, chicken, rabbit, and a high content of oleic acid, it is salutary for the prevention of arthritis.

IN THE KITCHEN
Many are the ways and recipes that allow you to use Parma ham in your kitchen. As appetizer, first course or main course, Parma ham enhances your dishes such as quiches, breadsticks with ham, pasta and tortellini filled with ham, roulade with ham and cheese and even combined with fruit.

ONCE UNPACKED
Parma ham without bone will always be delivered to you in its airtight packaging. We recommend that you put it as is on the lower shelf of your fridge at a temperature of 6-8 Degrees centigrade for 5-6 months, and that you regularly check the integrity of packaging.
Once unwrapped, the product should be preserved at a temperature of less than 10 Degrees centigrade, and the cut side should be covered with a dishtowel, aluminium foil or food paper to preserve its organoleptic properties for nearly 5 months. It’s easy, isn’t it?
